"Kai" is a word rich with meaning across cultures: in Hawaiian, it means sea or ocean; in Māori, food or nourishment; in Chinese, it signifies change or transformation. These meanings perfectly reflect our approach to building. The name actually has a special backstory. Our company is named after Kai, a much-loved dog who had a serious love for food and bringing people together. That same spirit is what drives us.
