North End Remodel

Set beneath the trees in Boise's North End, this Craftsman remodel brings together a bold exterior refresh, preserved original woodwork, and a fully reworked interior built for modern life. The exterior now features a deep teal body, cedar shake accents, restored beam work and black rafter tails, crisp black window trim, refreshed concrete entry, new fencing, and a turquoise front door. Inside, original stained woodwork was retained to bring warmth and weight to the brightened rooms, including a leaded-glass built-in buffet, dark-stained window trim, substantial baseboards, and a broad fireplace mantel. We refinished the hardwoods, updated the living room hearth with a textured tile surround and modern insert, and added a patterned runner up the staircase. The new kitchen has white shaker cabinetry, dark stone counters, a warm wood island, stainless appliances, subway tile, and glass globe pendants. Upstairs, the finished rooms add quiet, flexible space with deep blue walls, soft carpet, and simple white trim. The full bath pairs a deep blue vanity with a stone vessel sink, a large-format tile shower with inset niches, and dark tile floors. New paint, lighting, hardware, and ceiling fans bring the rest of the home up to date. The result is a North End home that feels rooted, expressive, and ready for its next chapter.
